Dozens of hectares of rice fields were destroyed by what local sources describe as "the worst flood in the area in the past ten years".

According to locals, heavy rain has caused flash floods in their area and floods have caused water to flow into the village. By morning the water had flooded the rice fields and divided their area. In the evening flash floods suddenly came, causing their houses to be flooded with water and washing away their belongings. People try to move furniture up high to avoid flood water damage. This is the worst flood in the past 10 years in this area. Dozens of hectares of rice fields were destroyed along with hundreds of houses inundated by flood water.
