Residents affected by earthquake take refuge in tents set up in southern China

Residents have been sheltering in tents after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck their homes in southern China.

Video filmed in the county of Luding in Sichuan Province on September 5 shows local residents staying in more than 30 tents at a temporary resettlement site.

Volunteers brought in instant noodles, mineral water and other supplies for the residents affected by the earthquake in the town.

According to reports, 66 people were killed and 15 people are missing due to the quake.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
