A dog bit a little boy who was inside an elevator with it, in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

This incident happened at Charms County Society of Rajnagar Extension in the Ghaziabad district on September 5.

CCTV visuals showed the pet dog biting the child when he was going past it inside the elevator. The boy instantly clutched the area where he was bitten and jumped in pain.

Surprisingly, a woman, who held the dog's leash on her hands, did not react at all. As a matter of fact, the little boy, who had a school bag with him, kept writhing in pain and also constantly rubbed the injured area in front of her but she showed no signs of concern or remorse.

She did try to prevent her dog from attacking the child once again as she was getting down the elevator. Later on, a man was seen coming into the lift and upon seeing the child in pain, he enquired about it. The little boy also obliged and was seen showing his injury. The police registered a case after the parents of the boy filed a complaint.
