A pet Persian cat took home an adorable stray kitten that followed him everywhere in Malaysia.

The one-year-old male moggie named Theo wanders around the neighbourhood for his personal cat me-time in Perak State.

However, his owners were amused when he arrived home as usual on August 18 afternoon for lunch - but this time, a tiny kitten tailed behind him wherever he went.

Footage shows the fluffy ginger feline walking with a kitten tailing him as they enter the house.

Pet owner Khairul Azwan Khairuddin said: ‘I don't know where they met, but they wouldn't leave each other since that day. We waited for someone to ask for a missing kitten, but there was none, so I guess he was a stray.'

The cats went inside the house and checked every room together like they were on a house tour.

Khairul added: ‘It was so funny. Theo looked like he was showing the little cat his new home.'

The cat lover adopted the kitten so the best friends could live together.
