Firefighters formed a 'human bridge' on a cliff to transfer elderly people out of a village after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit southern China.
Heroic video filmed in the city of Ya'an in Sichuan Province on September 8 shows several firefighters laying on the side of a cliff to form a "human bridge" to let other firefighters carrying elderly people to walk through.
According to reports, firefighters tried to transfer two elderly people with mobility issues out of the village after the earthquake, but the route they built up collapsed.
Since the rocks continuously fell down from the mountain, six firefighters laid on the vertical cliff to build a 'human bridge' for other firemen stepping on their shoulders to transfer two elderly people.
