Residents pull out rat snake clogging water supply pipe in Thailand
This is the moment residents pulled out a large rat snake that had been clogging a water supply pipe in Thailand.
Footage shows the men dragging out the reptile that had slithered into the plastic tube in Mukdahan province on August 25. Water gushed from the pipe as the blockage was cleared and the pressure was normalised.
The villagers are later seen posing for the camera while holding up the limp and motionless snake, which had apparently drowned while stuck inside.
Onlooker Chit Pakpoom said: 'The water was slowing down and we couldn't find the cause of it. I was surprised when I knew there was a whole snake inside. I wonder how it got in.'
