The last major National Surfing contest of 2022 at Fistral Beach Newquay. Large crowds enjoy sunshine and excellent surfing waves as the British Longboard Union puts on The Stable Fistral Longboard classic championships. Backed by Surfing England this event which started in 1994 has become a much loved fixture for traditional longboard surfing which itself came close to extinction as smaller lighter boards superseded the original designs.
