Rescue teams rode a rubber dinghy to reach villagers in flood-stricken villagers in Pakistan's Sindh province on September 13.

Footage shows emergency services and members of the Pakistan Navy crossing a waterlogged road before setting out on a dinghy in the region's Qamber Shahdadkot district.

Monsoon rains and melting glaciers have triggered catastrophic floods that have killed more than 1,400 people in the country.

The humanitarian crisis has seen an estimated 30 billion USD worth of property, infrastructure, livestock, and crops destroyed, with authorities saying it may take up to six months for the water to recede.

The government and the United Nations secretary general Antonio Guterres have blamed climate changed for the calamity that has submerged a third of Pakistan's land.
