A forklift was used to rescue a family of four trapped in a burning shop in northern China.

Video filmed in the city of Hengshui in Hebei Province on August 22 shows several men using extinguishers to put out a fire on the ground floor of a shop.

A woman was heard saying: “I have reported it to the police. Oh my god, the children are still in the shop. We called (the family of four).”

A man named Zhao Jie then went back to his factory and drove a forklift to the scene to lift the family of four trapped on the first floor out of the building.

The firefighters reportedly arrived later and extinguished the fire.

8月22日晚11时许，河北衡水枣强县，明瑞女士和丈夫赵杰在自家厂里突然听到附近传来“砰砰”巨响，他们跑到街上发现，附近一个商铺正在起火燃烧。
她连忙拨打了119报警，现场有热心群众撬开了商铺大门，试图进入店内灭火，查看是否有人员被困，但因火势太大只能作罢。
期间，有群众联系上商铺老板，得知其一家四口被困在商铺二楼。由于二楼窗户处有广告牌遮挡，一楼又在燃烧，被困的一家逃生有些困难。
得知上述情况后，赵杰赶紧跑回自家厂里，迅速开来一辆叉车，在现场其他群众的配合下，将老板夫妻和一对子女安全救出。消防员随后赶到现场，将火势扑灭。
8月25日上午，赵杰收到了阿里天天正能量特别奖证书，并获得10000元奖金。他夫妻二人商量后，决定将奖金捐赠给枣强县消防救援大队，用于公益培训或添加消防设施。（视频由河北台提供）
