Colony of ants nest in monitor and crawl across woman's screen
A colony of ants nested in a woman's monitor and were seen crawling across the screen.
Video filmed in the city of Haikou in Hainan Province on September 12 shows hundreds of ants moving inside a Samsung monitor.
According to the woman named Chen, she might have accidentally splashed milk tea or cake onto the screen when she was drinking and eating.
Since there was a gap in the screen, the ants crawled inside and built a nest there.
Chen bought the monitor two months ago and she contacted the factory to repair the monitor but only to be told that it could not be fixed.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
