Activists from the This Ends Now group took to the streets in the UK on Saturday to march against sexual violence.

Organised by Nikki Owen, the This Ends Now lobby group organised a march through Stroud, Gloucestershire, demanding an end to sexual violence towards women and girls, following a series of sexual assaults in the town this year.

Hundreds of women and men joined the march, chanting "What do we want? Freedom! When do we want it? Now!"

The footage filmed on September 17 first shows Nikki Owen, explaining why she organised the march and that she hopes that a lot of men will also join the cause.

The footage the shows clips of the march itself, with protesters waving banners and shouting slogans.

At the end, co-organiser Sydney-Anne McAllister explains why the event is so important, in light of a number of sexual assaults in the town this year.
