The 2022 São Paulo state election will take place in the state of São Paulo, Brazil on 2 October 2022 and 30 October 2022 (second round, if necessary). Voters will elect a Governor, Vice Governor, one Senator, 70 representatives for the Chamber of Deputies, and 94 Legislative Assembly members. The incumbent Governor, Rodrigo Garcia, of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB), is eligible for a second term and will run for reelection.
The video shows a political campaign for governor in São Paulo in the city of Carapicuiba. The candidate for reelection to the government of the state of São Paulo Rodrigo Garcia is seen safely in his surroundings and is wearing ballistic vest and ballistic suitcases because of threats made by the criminal organization PCC - First Capital Command.
