Japan: Typhoon Nanmadol Makes Another Landfall, Floods Reported Across Western Prefectures 2

After lashing Kagoshima on Sunday, Typhoon Nanmadol which has now weakened made another landfall in Fukuoka on Monday, September 19.

A linear rain belt is forecast to further drench northern Kyushu, Chugoku, Shikoku, Kinki, and Tokai regions until September 20. The Japan Meteorological Agency warned residents to be vigilant about landslides and overflowing rivers.
