Police officers seized and destroyed illegal liquor amounting to Rs 1.5 crore (USD $188,373) in central India's Madhya Pradesh on September 17.

Visuals showed thousands of seized liquor bottles lined up and placed on the ground. A huge bulldozer was then run over these bottles as the vehicle crushed all of them with all the liquor spilling out on the road, as police officers stood and watched.

Police officers seized and destroyed illegal liquor amounting to Rs 1.5 crore (USD 188,373) in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident happened at Abbas Nagar, in the Bhopal district on September 17.

A huge bulldozer was then run over these bottles as the vehicle crushed all of them with all the liquor spilling out on the road. Police officers stood and watched all the illicit liquor getting destroyed. Thousands of liquor bottles were destroyed.

The Excise Department destroyed 9000 boxes of expired beer at its godown. There are 12 bottles in a beer box and according to this, the road roller road was run on more than one lakh bottles.

According to the information received from the Excise Department, beer bottles got spoiled after being in stock for more than six months.
