A cameraman captures the rare moment 15 lions drink all together from a pond in South Africa.

He said: "I had the privilege of spending time with a mega pride of 22 lions. The most incredible moment I could film was when 15 members went to a watering hole. Some prides can go over 20 individuals and they are called mega prides. To see one of them is a rare and unbelievable experience".

According to the person who captured this on camera, the big challenge was getting all animals together in one shot considering that they always scatter around while resting or walking.

"It was an amazing sight to see such an incredible number of lions, quenching their thirst, out in the African wild. It was astounding".

I had the privilege of spending time with a mega pride of lions consisting of twenty-two lions. Hearing about such a pride already gave me goosebumps but to actually see so many lions together in the wild is just astounding. The challenge was to get all the lions together in one shot which is extremely difficult as they always are scattered around while resting or even walking. The most incredible moment I could film with this mega pride was when fifteen of the pride members all went to a watering hole to drink. The rest of the pride had their drink prior and was lying away from the watering hole. It was an amazing sight to see such an incredible number of lions, quenching their thirst, out in the African wild.
