This is the amusing moment a clumsy tourist fell into a canal while feeding the fish.

Nuttasuda Senjuntichai visited a temple with friends and bought a bag of colourful treats for the river creatures in Pathum Thani province on September 18.

However, she slipped down the concrete steps while her friends were recording themselves and she fell straight into the dirty water.

Footage capturing the funny fail shows the tourist merrily throwing fish food before plunging into the pond upon missing a step.

Nuttasuda said: ‘The water was very deep and stinky. Luckily I was carrying the fish food bag when I fell so I was holding on to it in the water.'

Her terrified friend raced to her friend and reached her hand into the pond in Wat Phosop Phon Charoen temple.

She added: ‘I have a few scratches on my arms while climbing up. I'm glad the video made people watching it laugh.'
