Truck crashes after swerving to avoid dog crossing road in China
A truck crashed after swerving to avoid hitting a dog that was crossing a road in southwest China.
CCTV footage filmed in. the city of Liupanshui in Guizhou Province on September 20 shows a truck suddenly losing control and skidding toward a man on the side of the road.
According to reports, the man threw a stone at the dog to scare it off as it attempted to steal some food.
The startled dog then ran into the road.
The speeding truck saw the dog and performed an emergency brake to avoid crashing into it, causing the vehicle to lose control and skid toward the man.
Luckily, the truck did not hit the man and it stopped after crashing into a parked truck.
The video provider Mr Liu told Guizhou Television that no one was injured and only his truck was damaged.
The compensation has been negotiated.
