Iranian demonstrators and sympathizers exposed pictures of executed political prisoners during a protest held in New York yesterday (September 21).

People gathered at United Nations Plaza in New York City to protest Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s speech to the General Assembly. The President said that his country was a model of justice.

Protesters called for regime change and showed support for the demonstrations that have rocked Iran in recent days following the death of Mahsa Amini. The 22-year-old woman died in police custody on September 16.
