Miraculous escape for driver as steel girder falling from bridge crushes truck in China
A driver miraculously survived as a steel box girder crushed a truck after falling off an overpass in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Zhongshan in Guangdong Province on September 24 shows the steel beam suddenly falling off an overpass which was under construction.
A truck was crushed and buried under the girder.
A worker was injured and has been sent to hospital for treatment. The truck driver was not injured as the steel box girder only hit the trunk.
The cause was in further investigation by local authorities.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
