A 25-year-old man opened fire with a sawed-off shotgun during a meeting for military reservists in the town of Ust-Ilimsk, Russia's Irkutsk region, on September 26.

In footage filmed by a woman subject to mobilisation the gunman went inside the military office and said "No one will fight" and "Now let's all go home".

He shot at commissar Alexander Vladimirovich Eliseev who was holding the briefing.

After the first shot, the shooter called on the young people in the room to run away before pulling the trigger a second time.

Eliseev was brought to the Ust-Ilimsk city hospital with six bullet wounds. He is now in intensive care and his condition is critical.

The shooter was arrested immediately after the incident.

Before starting to shoot, Zinin said: "Now let's all go home." The military commissar survived. He was brought to the Ust-Ilimsk city hospital with six bullet wounds. Military commissar Alexander Vladimirovich Eliseev is in intensive care, in critical condition. The doctors are fighting for his life. The shooter was immediately arrested.
