Monday, September 26, 2022 On Monday at 1040 a tractor trailer rollover with entrapment was dispatched in Mount Carmel Township for the area of Locust Summit. Police were first on scene and quickly confirmed negative entrapment with the driver being out of the flipped cab. Fire departments began to arrive and set up containment for the ruptured saddle bags on the truck which were leaking an estimated 150 gallons of fuel 74,000 pounds of garbage scattered across the road. Aurand’s towing from Sunbury was contacted and sent several vehicles both for cleanup and to flip the tractor trailer back onto its wheels.

DMS also sent several vehicles to the scene as when the truck flipped it sent garbage onto the road and surrounding area. The road was closed until just after 330pm.
