This is the astonishing moment dozens of hungry devotees scrambled for baskets of food at a religious festival in Thailand.
The tasty offerings were laid out on a long table as spiritual donations for ancestors who locals believe are 'in hell' because of sins in their past lives.
They then race to scoop up the hampers of fruit and vegetables as they believe it will bring good luck.
Local Amika Champathong recorded the bizarre incident at the Wat Mongkhon Wararam temple in Phuket on September 26.
She said: 'People in the south of Thailand do this ritual. It's a tradition that we believe will help the souls of ancestors who committed sins in their lives.'
