A shocking video has emerged from China of a restaurant waiter pouting a bowl of boiling water over a customer.
Captured on Monday by a security camera in Zhejiang Province, the footage shows a waiter walk casually up to the seated customer and empty the bowl on her head. He then attacks her, as bystanders try to restrain him.
According to news reports, the female customer had earlier been critical of the service he was providing.
She was hospitalised with severe burns.
The eighteen-year-old waiter is under police custody.
