Footage shows the desctruction caused by Typhoon Noru as it ripped through central Vietnam's, Quang Nam.

Local resident Kim Anh recorded as they walked through dozens of fallen trees surrounded by debris torn from roofs by winds of up to 180 km/h.

Noru weakened into a tropical depression and later moved toward Laos.

Typhoon Noru made landfall in Vietnam with winds of 180km/hour, causing many areas to be severely affected. Thousands of houses had their roofs blown off and collapsed. Strong winds also damaged hundreds of power poles, causing widespread power outages. After making landfall in Vietnam, Typhoon Noru weakened into a tropical depression and moved to Laos.
After the storm passed, People returned home to find their roofs swept away by the storm. They quickly repaired and cleaned up fallen trees.
