Passersby move cover back onto manhole after truck flipped it over in China
Residents moved a cover back onto a manhole after a truck tipped it over in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Shantou in Guangdong Province on September 27 shows a truck running over a manhole on a road and the cover flipping off onto the road.
Several cyclists spotted the cover and stopped, while nearby shopowner Cai put a bin beside the manhole as a temporary roadblock sign.
The cyclist attempted to move the cover back onto the manhole but it was too heavy for them. So Cai and another man put the cover back together.
Cai said to Guangdong Television that the cyclists looked like teenagers. They already reported the case to the local government.
