A poor cow that fell inside a well gets rescued at night by firefighters and residents of Secunderabad, India's state of Telangana.

The footage shows rescuers at the bottom of the well tieing the animal with a rope. The cow is pulled up with the help of a crane. People that have gathered around it look worried as the animal is unconscious.

The cow is carefully laid on the ground and untied while a big crowd stares at the scene. Thanks to the help of rescuers, it regains consciousness.

The cow was returned to its owner and is now safe.

The footage was filmed in Tukaram Gate, Hyderabad district, on September 27.

Visuals showed the cow being tied to a rope that was attached to the crane. One of the officials was seen getting inside the well and doing so. It was then seen being pulled out of the well with the help of a crane.

The cow was then laid on the ground and tapped with hands for it to get back to consciousness. A huge crowd had gathered around the incident spot.

A fire department team from Secunderabad rushed to the spot and with the assistance of local people and other departments brought it to safety and handed it over to the owner.
