An alert cop was seen saving the life of a passenger, who slipped and fell while boarding a moving train in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident happened on platform number 2 at the Datia railway station on September 27.

CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the passenger slipped while trying to get on the moving number 12138 (Punjab Mail train). He had lost his balance and was about to slip into the gap between the train and the platform.

The cop, identified as Ramhet Gurjar, who was patrolling the platform at that point of time, jumped to help the passenger, who had clung to the train and was getting dragged by it. He rushed towards the passenger and after running alongside him for a while, was able to lift him and push him back inside the train.
