Karyn and I Lance were moving a grain truck with seed in it for planting to the next field. Karyn was in a truck ahead and Lance was in the grain truck. Karyn stopped and called her husband to say something was caught in a fence. So they walked over and found the calf moose. All Lance had was a small pair of pliers not really made for cutting barbed wire. They could see mother moose in the trees with another baby. Lance had seen the cow moose and her twins around earlier in the week. Karyn recorded and kept an eye on mama moose to let her husband know if she started to charge. Lance used the pliers to cut the wire while being nervous about mother moose.
Lance seen that trio a couple times later in the summer!
