Ukrainian soldiers clear a dam with about 650 kilos of explosives in the liberated village of Bolshie Prokhody, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine.

It remains unclear why Russian forces left this large amount of explosives there. If detonated, the water would have flooded nearby villages and towns causing inestimable damage.

On Facebook, Serhii Bolvinov, head of the investigative department of the National Police of the Kharkiv region said: "Specialists found 175 kg of TNT, 68 anti-tank mines and electric detonators - a total of about 650 kilograms in TNT equivalent".

The footage was filmed on October 2.
