Two alert cops saved the life of a man who slipped and fell while boarding a train in northern India's Bihar.

The incident happened at platform number 1 at Jamalpur railway station in Munger district on September 30.

Visuals showed the man trying to get onto the running train Brahmaputra Mail (number 15658) when he slipped and fell, seemingly into the gap in the platform. But the two cops instantly rushed and pulled him out of the area.

The man was later identified as Vinod Sharma and he was travelling to Delhi from Malda. The two cops who saved his life were S. Meena and Ankita.
