Rare encounter as elusive snow leopard runs across motorist's path in China
A motorist encountered a rare snow leopard in southwest China.
Video filmed in Ngari Prefecture in Tibet on September 28 shows a motorist Mr Zhou encountering a snow leopard running along a road.
According to the World Wildlife Fund, there are an estimated 4,080-6,590 snow leopards left in the wild and they are listed as "vulnerable" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
