Former heavyweight world champion David Haye arrives at Westminster Magistrates Court for assault trial
Former boxing heavyweight world champion David Haye today (Tue 4 October) arrived at Westminster Magistrates Court to stand trial after being accused of assaulting a man at a gig in London last year.
Haye denies attacking a man, named as Nickesh Jhala, at a Hammersmith Apollo gig on October 30, 2021.
It is reported Haye has enlisted the services of top criminal barrister James Scobie QC for his defence, who is usually more accustomed to murder trials at the Old Bailey.
The trial timetable is scheduled for two days so all nine witnesses in the case can be heard.
