Long queues and tensions at Paris petrol stations as TotalEnergies's workers continue their strike
An ongoing strike by TotalEnergies's workers has caused tensions and disruptions in Paris, France.
Footage filmed today (October 5), shows long queues and drivers honking their horns at the petrol station of Quai d'Issy-les-Moulineaux.
Workers started their action on September 27 to demand higher pay amid soaring inflations and tensions over pension reforms between the French government and unions.
Reuters reported that both the strike and unplanned maintenance have taken offline more than 60% of the country's refining capacity.
