A woman who developed painfully large 32G-cup breasts has shared her relief after having them surgically reduced to 32DD-cup – but says creepy men online tell her she has made a mistake.

Melody Hernandez, 20, from Texas, was in pain every day as a result of her disproportionately large chest and struggled to find suitable clothes when she decided to undergo breast reduction surgery in March of this year.

While she says they were “too big” for her body before, she was thrilled with the results after going down to a 32DD-cup and no longer feels insecure about her body.

But bizarrely, the young woman has been subject to baffling comments from trolls online who insist her natural breasts were “perfect”, and call the surgery “sad and tragic”.

"I always felt insecure because I never liked how my clothes would appear on me," Melody told NeedToKnow.online.

"I also always felt that it may have been something that caught someone’s attention and draw their eyes there from time to time rather than my face, which I completely understand; it just made me uncomfortable most of the time.

"They definitely affected my self-esteem as well.

"With nothing ever fitting me right, I never had motivation to dress the way I wanted to because of that.

"I also just felt they stretched out things I would wear so you couldn’t see the outline of my actual body.

"Now, because I had the surgery, I feel so much more confident with how my clothes fit me and I feel like they aren’t something that instantly catches someone’s attention."

The full-time student says her breasts would leave her having to size up in clothes and she could only wear wired bras, leaving her with very little outfit choices.

Because of the weight of her breasts, Melody would also be left in lots of pain.

She said: "It was so painful whenever it was the end of the way and I was done wearing my bra.

"It felt like someone had punched my chest, I also would catch myself slouching all of the time, which would hurt my upper back.

"The straps to hold them up would also leave burn marks on my shoulders because of how tight it had to be."

As well as the physical damage her breasts would cause, Melody also says they caused strains on her friendships and would often find herself feeling uncomfortable around "guy friends".

She said: "I have been told by friends that my supposed guy friends had told them things about my breast size.

"I would even catch some of my guy “friends” hugging me tight when i’d say bye to them.

"I felt it was very off-putting & made me not want to be in contact with them."

Due to the size of her breasts in comparison to her body, the 20-year-old was able to qualify for insurance and only had to pay $1,000 for the surgery – far less than the original cost of around $8,500.

She shared the transformation on TikTok, where she received comments slamming the results.

One comment reads: “Noooo they were so perfect before.”

The user later added: “It’s just so sad and tragic.”

Melody claims that she has also had men online message her directly about the surgery.

She said: "The only negative comments I’ve received were ones from the TikTok video, which were all from men unfortunately.

"I had gotten a comment such as ‘They were perfect before…’ ‘It’s sad and tragic’ as well as personal comments through dm from men wondering why I ever wanted them removed & I looked just fine."

Melody had been on a waiting list since June 2021 and was finally able to have the surgery nine months later.

Now, six months after her surgery, Melody now says her life has never been better and that she has "never felt more confident".

She added: "I am now able to properly fit in clothes I want to wear without having to upsize them.

"I am also able to wear clothing styles I wasn’t able to wear before such as sportswear and cropped clothes!

"I also do not slouch as much or feel pain because of how heavy they were before.

“Despite it being quite painful, it was so worth it in the end.”
