Oil painter sketches an awesome portrait of her sun-soaked son eating ice-cream
The ability of artists to say something without uttering or writing a single word, is beyond impressive.
This remarkable video shows Rachel Azzopardi Carbonese using her sharp oil-painting skills to sketch her four-year-old son.
"I painted my son eating an ice cream in the scorching summer sun as part of my 'Sun-Soaked' painting series," Rachel said. "In this series of paintings, I attempt to visually depict the feeling of heat from the sun, and how it feels on our skin, the facial expressions that come forthwith, and the way those expressions are received and interpreted."
This footage was filmed on May 16, 2022.
