Tourists left hanging in the air after theme park ride malfunctions in China
Tourists were left hanging in the air on a flying tower ride in a park due to a malfunction.
Video filmed in the city of Changchun in Jilin Province on October 2 shows dozens of tourists in flying chairs left dangling in the air.
Firefighters reportedly arrived on site in a short time to repair the ride. After around an hour, all tourists were helped to the ground safely.
The cause is being investigated. The park has reached a settlement with the stranded tourists.
