UK illegal street racers spin in circles and block man from leaving, turning Lidl's car park into Wild West
A man was blocked in by drifting street racers while loading his shopping at a Lidle shop in Borehamwood, England.
Footage filmed yesterday (October 7), shows the man moving the items from the shopping cart to his boot, while an imprudent driver engages in spinning in circles in the car parking.
"The man was initially quite tentative to approach his car when he left the shop but soon got to work packing his stuff away", said the filmer.
People can be seen watching the crazy performance in line.
The filmer said: "A large proportion of the crowd had heard about the meet on social media and come to watch but there were a few curious members of the public who had just stumbled upon it".
According to the person who captured this on camera, street races and car meets are quite a recurring issue in the county, with "probably one a week taking place".
"The whole meet took place from about 8 to 12 pm across several towns around Hertfordshire including Watford, St Albans, and Hemel Hempstead with the cars travelling in a convoy between locations", the filmer explained.
He also said that the police showed up half an hour after the clip was taken, causing all cars to leave.
The shopper eventually managed to find a break in the traffic to escape the car park.
