General elections were held on 2 October 2022 in Brazil to elect the president, vice president, and the National Congress. Elections for state governors and vice governors, state legislative assemblies, the Federal District Legislative Chamber, and the District Council of Fernando de Noronha were held at the same time. There were more than 156 million registered voters in Brazil for this election, making the country the second largest democracy in the Americas and one of the largest in the world.

The video shows presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and his vice president, Geraldo Alckmin (PSB), participating in a meeting with former MDB candidate and senator, Simone Tebet in São Paulo and forming a partnership for the 2nd round campaign. Simone Tebet, third in the elections, declared at the meeting with the PT - Partido dos Trabalhadores her support for Lula in the second round.
