Rescued cobra receives treatment at vet hospital in central India
A cobra received treatment at a veterinary hospital after being rescued in central India's Madhya Pradesh.
The incident happened in Dev Bhilai in Betul district on September 28.
Visuals showed the medicinal spray being put on the snake by the doctor, named Dasrath Barange at the Multai Veterinary Hospital, as the reptile was held by a man. The snake, which was injured in several places, also received stitches. The doctor also applied a bandage on it.
The reptile was spotted by the villagers and they informed snake catcher Shrikant Vishwakarma, who later reached the spot. After he rescued the animal, it was taken to the hospital where Dr. Barange treated it. The snake is expected to heal in three-four days and would be soon released into the forest.
