A pair of twins joined at the chest was born at Shri Ram Hospital in the city of Merta, India's state of Rajasthan, on October 6.

The babies have two heads, four hands, and four legs, but they are conjoined.

Doctors and 23-year-old mum Lalita were shocked when they saw the two boys born physically connected to each other.

The medical staff said that these cases are rare and the chance of survival is very low.

Medical institute AIIMS Jodhpur is now taking care of the twins.

A 23 years old pregnant lady Lalita arrived for delivery in Shri Ram Hospital in Merta city of Rajasthan on Thursday (Oct 6). After a lot pain, she delivered twins. There was a moment of joy and sorrow. Babies were male but that moment convert into unimaginable. Doctors and patient both were shocked. Both the babies attached with chest.

According to doctors, usually these cases are rare. The chances of survival is very low.

Now, under the observation of doctors infants were refer to Jodhpur AIIMS for special care and treatment.
