Jakarta received a shipment of overflowing water and garbage from Bogor and Depok a few days ago when it was hit by heavy rain.

Due to heavy rains, a lot of organic waste such as trees and plastic filled the Manggarai floodgates in Central Jakarta.

Thousands of cubic meters of garbage are piled up in the water and on cliffs that have been transported to a landfill.

Until now, the floodgates are still in the form of three alerts, but the Bogor and Depok areas still have the potential for heavy rains.

Alamsyah said that initially the water started to overflow and came at two in the morning on October 10, 2022. Meanwhile, the garbage arrived at four in the morning on October 10, 2022.
