Two fishermen rescued a couple of kittens that were thrown into a river in eastern China.

Video filmed in the city of Changzhou in Jiangsu Province on October 2 shows a man named Li and his friend retrieving a plastic bag floating near the riverbank.

They then opened the bag to find two kittens.

According to Li, he and his friend saw someone throw a black plastic bag into the river and then they heard the cats meowing.

Li and his friend contacted a pet store to foster the kittens. After being checked, the kittens were both in good health condition.

The two kittens both have been adopted already.

10月2日，江苏常州，李先生和朋友钓鱼时，发现有人将一个黑色塑料袋扔进了河中，仔细一听，塑料袋里好像传来的猫咪的叫声，他和朋友随后划船，循着叫声捡起塑料袋，将两只黑色小猫救起。李先生表示，自己一开始听到有人向河里丢东西，以为是垃圾，后面听到声音才知道是小猫，小猫被捞上来之后身上都是湿的，晒干之后自己就和朋友联系了宠物店寄养。经过仔细检查和照料，两只小猫都很健康。目前，一只小猫被朋友的奶奶带回家养，另一只小猫也被领养。
