Shocking CCTV footage shows the moment burglars break into a shop window using a ladder - stealing £25,000 worth of merchandise. Bismillah Phone and Accessories in Bradford, West Yorks,. has been broken into twice now in two years but this time, startling footage has captured one of the raids. The footage shows two men climb in and out of the shop, stealing £25,000 worth of CDs and electronic devices. Shop owner Muhammad Faiz, 34, has said he is 'very upset' and it feels like the burglars have 'broken his legs.' He said: "I'm very upset. "They've broken a window on the shop front and used a ladder to climb up to get in. "They've taken a lot of stock. It looks like it could be around £20,000 to £25,000 worth. "We're a very hard-working business and we've secured everything, but honestly, it feels like they've broken my legs. "Police came out and took pictures and gathered CCTV evidence of the suspects coming and going." Muhammad is now also worried about the safety of his employees, who he believes are 'not protected' at all. He said: "We're not safe and we're not protected. "Police need to help shopkeepers. "There need to be more patrols in the area, but I don't think they're going to do that. "I'm scared now to tell you the truth." The business was also burgled two years ago, where they stole around £40,000 worth of stock, and there was also an attempted burglary three weeks ago. Because of this, Muhammad's insurance skyrocketed from £1,600 a year to a whopping £10,000 a year, and now he is concerned it will continue to rise. He said: "I was burgled two years ago and three weeks ago there was an attempt to burgle the shop. "Two years ago, I was in the same situation. They took so much stock at the time. "I lost £35,000 to £40,000. To be honest, what can I do? "Nothing can help, apart from having insurance. "We're working very hard but all the time I feel like I'm losing. "My insurance is going to be sky-high." West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for a comment.
