Now, that's how you leave a mark.

This attention-grabbing footage shows fire artist Algebra Young making a flamin' hot artwork revolving around a fish.

He uses two tones of gunpowder to create the fish design and sets each one on fire to take his art to completion before bordering it with silver foil to complete the story of a "fish in silver."

"I am a pyrographer, meaning I make art with fire," Algebra said. "While most artists within my medium use hot metal or specialized wood burning tools, my style is a bit more... pyrotechnic; I am a gunpowder artist. I lay out my designs grain by grain and then light them up, permanently scorching the design into the surface beneath."
