Ultranationalist Jews celebrate Rosh Hashanah, a day marking God's creation of the world, at Al Aqsa Mosque in occupied East Jerusalem, sparking indignation among Palestinians.

The footage shows Israeli security forces escorting the worshippers. Jewish families are filmed happily dancing in circles in front of Palestinian protesters.

Female demonstrators shout "Allahu Akbar", which translates into "God The Greatest, to Jews' faces. Their protest doesn't seem to disturb the worshippers.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is Muslisms' third holiest site, but it also holds religious value for Jews. They refer to this venue as "Temple Mount", claiming that two Jewish temples were set there in ancient times. However, Orthodox Jews believe that prayer is not allowed in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. Despite that, ultranationalists enter the building to observe Jewish holidays.

Palestinians perceive access to and use of the Al-Aqsa Mosque as a provocation and lack of respect for their cultural and religious identity.
