Forget snakes on a plane, one man had to deal with a goat on a boat after wrestling the animal off his vessel when he caught it stealing snacks.

When Candi Ledford, 39, and her husband Chris took their sons to Pickwick Lake, Mississippi, US, on July 10 they decided to show them a place called Goat Island.

Hilarious footage shows the 35-year-old trying to push one of the crafty animals back from the front of the boat after he had caught it stealing food from their cooler.

Using a packet of cool ranch Doritos, Chris lured the goat to the back of the vessel but when he couldn’t get it off, he had to wrestle with its horns before pushing it back onto dry land.

Candi said: “Our boys didn’t believe there were really goats on the island so we took them to see them.

“We were all on the island looking at a baby goat, when this adult jumped onto the boat out of nowhere.

“Chris immediately leapt on to try and get him off. The goat went straight to our snack bag as he was looking for food.

“It took Chris about two minutes to get him off the boat by throwing chips in the water, cool ranch Doritos to be exact, and giving him a helping hand.

“Me and the kids were the ones laughing in the background.”
