WANG SHAN, GANSU PROVINCE, CHINA - SEPTEMBER 12: Scientists observe an ongoing landslide that was in action for 18 hours at Wang Shan, Gansu Province, China on September 12, 2012. The landslide that has been bringing down rock, bushes, trees and other debris is a glaring example of the destructive side of nature. The conception point of this landslide is on a several hundred meters high slope and could cause irrevocable damage to anything that comes in its way. Luckily there were no houses or settlements in that area.
