This is the amusing moment a mischievous pet cat knocked over a mattress onto her owner while she was sweeping the floor.

Jurairat Funsakul lifted up the bed and propped it against the wall while she cleaned the tiles in her apartment in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 10.

However, the energetic one-year-old moggy named Soyon darted behind the mattress while it was leaning against the wall - before nudging it to make it lose balance.

CCTV shows how the bed came crashing down onto Jurairat, pinning her to the flood. She shouted for help only for a second cat named Nam to climb on top of the black bedding.

Jurairat, who bruised her elbow in the incident, said: 'I was confused when the bed fell over me. But then I saw my cat and realised that he had pushed it over.

‘Soyon is very naughty. She will never sit in one place when I'm cleaning.'

Jurairat was otherwise unhurt from the mattress falling on her.

She added: 'I love cats so I'm not angry at them. I will keep them away from the mattress next time I'm cleaning.'
