The rickety-looking structure winds around the Phu Tok mountain in Bueng Kan province and is reportedly hundreds of metres above sea level.

Bold tourists and thrill-seekers who brave the treacherous walk are rewarded with a breathtaking panorama of lush green fields and clear ponds sprawling across the scenic area.

Footage shows tourist Sorayut Sirihong and his friends making their way across the thin wooden planks making up the bridge.

He said: 'We had difficulty walking on the wooden bridge. It felt so fragile beneath our feet.'
