Halloween: UK artist carves amazing Greek mythological figures on pumpkin
In this short timelapse, a UK artist named Jamie Jones carves Greek mythological figures Medusa and Perseus on a pumpkin.
The artist said that this style is called "Pumpkin Shading" or "Etching".
"This technique involves shaving the pumpkin to different depths, allowing varying amounts of light through to create the design", explains 39-year-old Jamie.
It took the artist around 14 hours to carve the pumpkin. He said: "I used lino cutters and wood carving chisels to carve this pumpkin".
